I had the opportunity to explore the school, and I even got to speak to a class that has students who are 12-13 years old. I shared about New Zealand and showed them our class blog. They want to exchange videos with Room 14, so that will be a fun activity for Term 4.

Reflection:
It was so great to speak to the students. There were very interested in how society works in New Zealand and how school works. They were surprised to hear that we only give a minimum of 1 hour a week of homework, but I think that is because they finish school at 2pm. They were very shocked that we do not dress in a suit and tie for Christmas. They were interested in Maaori culture. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to be here and will hopefully visit again when I am here for our summer break. It also gave me a good opportunity to practise my Norwegian.
